History Project- Geography & Nation/States (CHP. 13)

Why is Portugal a separate country and not part of Spain?
Well, I’m not going to tell you. That’s right. I’m not. Are you surprised? You shouldn’t be. Why on earth would I tell you? I mean I really don’t care. And seriously since most papers start with a question and then it says, “I’m going to tell you…” DUH! Which is precisely why I started it that way. To shock you. Did it work? Well let’s think about that. If I didn’t care about the original question then why would I care about whether or not you were shocked?
PS: I hope Mr. C, never sees this because it's not a bad question/homework assignment it's just that if Portugal wants to form its own little country separate from Spain, who am I to question?

BTW- They separated because they had a little "marital issues" going on. (I. e. they sounded like an old married Jewish couple. Except they weren't that old. And I highly doubt they were Jewish *smirks*)
